I saw the whole launch, as I was walking back to my car after a walk on the

Seit einer Woche dröhnen ununterbrochen Kampfflugzeuge am Himmel über Rheinland-Pfalz und dem Saarland. Es geht morgens schon um 8 Uhr los erstreckt sich über den ganzen Tag, manchmal auch noch während der Nacht. Die Aktivitäten sind für „Friedenszeiten“ aussergewöhnlich hoch. Wäre interessant zu erfahren ob andere HG Leser Ähnliches beobachten.

(1) Der Leser mit den Flugbeobachtungen über der Pfalz hat recht. Meist handelt es sich um Tornado-Jagdbomber. Insgesamt läßt sich aber sagen, daß die Aktivität bereits seit ca. anfang 2013 signifikant zugenommen hat.
(2) Gerade donnern auch wieder schwere Maschinen am Himmel entlang. Wohne Richtung Saare- Union- Elsass. Das geht hier auch seit 3 bis 4 Tagen so. Habe auch schon Freunde darauf angesprochen.
(3) Zu DE kann ich nichts sagen, aber mir fiel in den vergangenen beiden Wochen auf Rhodos auf, dass täglich mehrmals Herkules-Transportflugzeuge den Flughafen anflogen. Da die Griechen eine stattliche Marineflotte haben und Flugbewegungen/ -transport deutlich teurer sein sollte, fand ich dieses Detail bemerkenswert. Ein „hohes“ Militärflugaufkommen sieht aber anders aus, denke ich…

Ich frage mich nur, warum die Feuerwehr darüber informiert wird aber nicht die Öffentlichkeit. Übrigens: Vor Kurzem stand ein schwarzer Helikopter für mehrere Minuten direkt über unserem Dorf und auch in der Folgezeit habe ich immer wieder schwarze Hubschrauber gesehen. Das hat dann aber irgendwann aufgehört. Tipp was das gewesen sein könnte?

Russia’s Air Force starts large-scale troop transfer in combat readiness check – Defense Ministry
The transfer of troops involves over 40 Antonov An-124 Ruslan, Ilyushin Il-76, Antonov An-22 and Antonov An-26 from the military aviation transport unit in Tver, Pskov, Taganrog and Orenburg air bases, which today alone will fly over 50 missions to transfer personnel and military hardware to various destinations,“ a ministry report says.
Personnel and equipment from detachments of the 98th air-borne division and the 31st assault brigade of Air-Borne Troops are loaded at airdromes for subsequent transfer to the Chelyabinsk region where they will take part in an exercise with combined-arms units of the Central Military District, the press service says, Interfax reports.

Russian Aerospace Defence Forces placing S-300 in operational readiness
A joint exercise of the Baltic Fleet, the Russian Airborne Troops and the Russian Air Force directed by the Western District commander is being held in the Kaliningrad Region. Aerospace defence units pursue defensive of the aerospace in the exercise area.
The exercise is taking place at the same time with the NATO international exercises Saber Strike 2014 and Baltops 2014 that started in Europe. The Russian Baltic Fleet manoeuvres are monitored by The Alster reconnaissance ship of the German Navy.

It is Dr. Paul Craig Roberts assertion that the United States believes that it can win a nuclear war against both China and Russia. Really, Dr. Roberts, China AND Russia? When I read the Roberts’ article, I was admittedly ans initially skeptical. However, as I researched his assertions, I firmly believe Dr. Roberts is correct and some of the justification for his beliefs are outside the scope of his article.
Dr. Roberts Hypothesis.
Dr. Roberts notes that the United States has changed its nuclear strategy to one consisting of a first strike upon Russia. Following the first strike, America will deploy an army of Anti-ballistic missiles (ABM’s) which are designed to intercept and destroy the incoming Russian and Chinese based ICBM’s.
Dr. Roberts states that the Russians understand that the change in U.S. nuclear war strategy and existence of the ABM bases on its borders are directed at what’s left of the Russia ICBM missiles following a first strike. It turns out the Dr. Roberts is completely correct in that the Russians know what is coming.

Hier gab es Flugschnee mit Frost-Fasern im Türrahmen von ca. 2 cm Länge und regelrechte Schneeflocken, die beim Aufprall auf Blech in kurze Fasern von ca. 3 mm Länge zerfielen.
